Vupos

Vupos is a plotting utility capable of
displaying NGS's PAGES suite plot files and
some simple text files. Vupos is a Java
application and can be run on any computer
with the Java 2 Runtime Environment,
Standard Edition (build 1.5 or higher). If you
do not have this version of the Java
Runtime Environment on your computer,
you can download the latest version from
Sun.
Vupos provides a graphical user interface for:
- viewing and limited editing of PAGES plot files,
- viewing simple text files containing data in the
form of X-Y or T-Y tables where T is
time expressed in the basic ISO 8601 standard format
yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss (2007-04-05T15:44:00 for example).
The columns in the text tables must be
separated whitespace and multiple Y columns can be included.
- viewing and printing in-program help information about Vupos.
Vupos is capable of:
- displaying any of the (sub)plots contained in a PAGES plot file.
- displaying individual data subsets, individual satellites for example,
in plot files.
- listing individual data subsets as an interactive text table in a
separate window.
- limited data editing of PAGES plot file data using the data list
window.
- displaying PAGES satellite scenario change boundaries if the
associated file exists.
- zooming in on a region of the plot via a cursor "rubberband box"
or a dialog with entry fields to select the region.
- changing plot labels and title.
- printing the displayed plot.
We, here at GPos, think you'll find Vupos
capable of fulfilling most of your plotting needs.
